1. Fixed-fee steps for straightforward matters. For defined, well-understood steps we quote one price before any work begins, and we set out in writing exactly what the fee includes and what it does not — government charges, court fees and barristers' fees are always separate, and we say so up front.
2. Agreed rates for complex or financial work. For parentage disputes, cross-border matters, financial remedy and anything genuinely complicated, we work at agreed hourly rates by seniority. You receive those rates and a written estimate in our engagement letter before we begin, and we tell you promptly if anything changes the estimate.
