Trainee Solicitor
Trainee solicitor who came to the law from public health research, bringing a published, data-driven approach to legal strategy.
Eddy joined our firm as a Trainee Solicitor. Prior to his legal career, Eddy's experience working in public health brought him into direct contact with vulnerable groups in Hong Kong – particularly low-income households, frail elderlies, and ethnic minorities – and the organisations that serve them. Eddy has published research on public health topics including bedbug infestations in Hong Kong, and he conducted one of the first empirical studies demonstrating that access to civil justice is a social determinant of health. He draws on his public-health background to bring a data-driven approach to legal strategy, particularly in areas involving health policy, medical-legal disputes, and CSR initiatives.
