[Press Release] ZN v. Secretary for Justice, Director of Immigration, Commissioner of Police, Commissioner for Labour

[PRESS RELEASE] We are disappointed by the judgment handed down by the Court of Final Appeal in ZN vs. Secretary for Justice, Director of Immigration, Commissioner of Police, Commissioner for Labour (FACV 4 of 2019). However, the Government is not off the hook. The Court affirms the duty on the part of the government to ensure effective protection for those at risk and leaves open the need for specific legislation in the future.
